Staff Profiles
CEO
Jenny Prinsloo’s background is in Corporate Marketing, specifically sponsorships, corporate social responsibility, internal communications, events and corporate identity. She’s passionate about food, travel, the outdoors, classical music and the arts. Miraculously she’s also finding the time to complete the Cape Wine Master programme! Her husband shares her interest in wine, and has just planted a row of Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier vines on their property. New garagistes are born!
Marketing Manager
Tania Steyn is passionate about tourism marketing and has an M Comm. degree in Tourism Management. Amongst others, she drives the social media campaign, FWVTA website, research and statistical analysis, brochures, communication, and the outdoor tourism product in Franschhoek. She also represents Franschhoek on SA Wine Routes and Vigneron matters. In her free time she can be found outdoors, exploring unknown roads and engaging in new adventures.
Development Coordinator
Lindy April deals with development projects, particularly social development, and also manages a number of events. After hours she plays around on her guitar, plays the odd bit of tennis and enjoys weekends with the yummy local wine.
Events Coordinator
Darielle Robertson is FWVTA’s energetic events co-ordinator. She feels her love for organising others' lives makes her perfect for this job! Her family have their roots in Franschhoek with her mom growing up at the old Swiss Farm Excelsior. When she is not running around organising events you will catch her at the Local gym working up a sweat or in one of our amazing restaurants over indulging in all the good things in life!
Bookkeeper
Lesley Murgatroyd, the FWVTA Bookkeeper, constantly keeps this organisation on its toes. Her two daughters live overseas and she loves visiting and exploring their respective countries. She’s passionate about different cultures and spends a large amount of her time delving into the history of the places she has visited.
Information Consultant
Carmen Kleinschmidt is the friendly information consultant that will answer your calls to our office. She knows the in's and out's of the Franschhoek Wine Valley. When she is not working, she can be found checking out the latest movies, cooking up a storm for her family or unravelling mysteries in her detective books.
